It’s just one of the tools we walk home owner clients through during a pre-listing consultation.
If you knew you HAD to eat a frog in the next 24 hours, what is the best strategy? If you put off eating that frog until hour 23, it’s going to hang over your head all day… and the dread and anticipation is going to loom bigger and bigger… But if you plug your nose and swallow it first thing, then it’s over with and you can concentrate on more appealing things.
Anyone can talk to home owners about what “needs to go”, leaving them with a “To-Do List”.
Without giving them some tools to keep them on track that “To-Do List” can feel bigger and bigger!
During a consultation we talk through getting the hardest task done FIRST which keeps motivation going instead of having dread and procrastination take over. I am available for quick coaching after I leave to keep them on track and it’s a part of the job I really love.
One last tip. If you know you HAVE to eat TWO frogs, eat the biggest one first!
